Meeting the townsfolk

The townsfolk were reasonably welcoming to me. I did not encounter any trouble except for one or two bullies that wanted to cause trouble. They are a very talkative bunch so there is lots of information to gather from them.

I think I have done all I can do to prepare for this next patrol. I hope to save up enough gold so I can join one of the guilds and pursue a class either in fighting or the magic arts. Until that time comes around I hope to survive this time guarding the travel spaces of Llafair.

Message to Advisor

We had an amazing encounter that I was worried about at the beginning but as I began to see how we were finishing our battles I gained so much hope. We killed a horde of dark elves and I hardly got a scratch out of it. Most importantly we got a lot of gold and now I will be able to train further.

We had a fairly busy day with some attackers coming out from the woods to attack. We made hem regret doing that but hey still came. I feel something is building up but for now I look forward to being back in Llafair tomorrow.

Finding a job

The kind of job I wish to do is hard to come by but I have the feeling that I will need to venture outside these castles to explore the plains that my advisor is telling me about. Maybe there I will find what I am looking for.

Wish I could change this about myself

I definitely need more gold but then again I can't think of a time that I did not need the precious metal. So, if I were to think of something I would change about myself is the way I have received and spent gold… I believe I suffer with mismanagement.
