I'd be inclined to push for a harsher sentance upon hearing that.
It is an unfortunate truth that people in her demographic are treated less harshly by the law as a general rule of thumb.
But it can also be taken as truth that anyone in that demographic who appears to take this trend for granted likely has very little respect for the law.

While she feels that she should not be arrested for DUI, she was arrested and charged. Nowadays the police are cracking down on people who are driving while intoxicated and even those driving while distracted. It does not matter what race you are as most officers do not know who is driving until they get up to the car.
