Source 8 Notepad++ is a generic source code editor (It tries to be anyway) and Notepad replacement written in c++ with win32 API. The aim of Notepad++ is to offer a slim and efficient binary with a totally customizable GUI.
I tried using this for a couple of days for coding. It has some good plugins but it is very buggy. Often it will not save settings or certain plugins will not work as they should. I ended up completely removing it from my system.
