Bees vs Wasps

Why do we love bees but hate wasps? A lack of understanding of the important role of wasps in the ecosystem and economy is a fundamental reason why they are universally despised whereas bees are much loved, according to new research. Source 5d.

I've never thought about that, I see them both as predators but I really do not like wasps. At the same time I generally find wasps more aggressive and they do tend to fly faster and spin around you in circles, very intimidating compared to a bee.

Every creature has its place in the ecology of the planet. Bees I believe are important as they are the ones that produce food for us by pollinating a lot of the world. Yes wasps are important too but man can not use their nests as a source of food like bees therefore they are despised more and killed easier as people do not feel they contribute food for them.

Wasps also look intimidating with their stinger curved and ready for the attack. I agree with above though… they are all needed but if money or food can't be gotten from them they become an outcast.
