If you have not seen a good movie lately then why not look at Black 47 which is based on historical facts. It shows the hardship the English put on the Irish to the point of starvation and death. The acting is top notch with our own Hugo Weaving as the protagonist.

I saw Black 47, a very good movie with some cool action sequences. I do not know if it is historically accurate but I wanted more from the ending… a continuance.

Definitely a biased movie but what would you expect if it is made in Ireland and about the English vs the Irish in times past.
