Law Of The Beginning The

Amonhi my friend, I think you are going to disagree with me on most of my points but that's cool.

My premises are
There will alway be a laws that must be followed.
God is God because he follows certain laws.
We can only enter the Celestial Kingdom if we follow certain Laws

The following scriptures lead me to this conclusion.

QUOTE

D&C 132:6 And as pertaining to the new and everlasting covenant, it was instituted for the fulness of my glory; and he that receiveth a fulness thereof must and shall abide the law, or he shall be damned, saith the Lord God.

We must and shall abide the law or we are damned

QUOTE

12 I am the Lord thy God; and I give unto you this commandment-that no man shall come unto the Father but by me or by my word, which is my law, saith the Lord.

The Lord has his own laws.

QUOTE

D&C 88: 13, 78
13 The light which is in all things, which giveth life to all things, which is the law by which all things are governed, even the power of God who sitteth upon his throne, who is in the bosom of eternity, who is in the midst of all things.

All things are governed by law, even the power of God

QUOTE

2 Nephi 2:13 And if ye shall say there is no law, ye shall also say there is no sin. If ye shall say there is no sin, ye shall also say there is no righteousness. And if there be no righteousness there be no happiness. And if there be no righteousness nor happiness there be no punishment nor misery. And if these things are not there is no God. And if there is no God we are not, neither the earth; for there could have been no creation of things, neither to act nor to be acted upon; wherefore, all things must have vanished away.

If there is no law...There is no God.

QUOTE

D&C 130: 21
21 And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.

In my opinion we are is governed by law In this life and after this life . If we choose follow eternal divine laws of our own free will we will become more like God, but if we choose to ignore these laws we will become something different

Excellent Post! I am not saying there is NO law in the end, I am saying that when we are like God, the law is written in our hearts and cannot be written on stone.

QUOTE
Ps. 37: 31
31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

Heb. 10: 16
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;"
This in contrast to the law written on stone which is far inferior.

In fact, the Higher law is still a law, but it is like a riddle or playing the game sculptor. Until you "get it", you don't get it. The reason so few "get it" is because it cannot be written, except on our hearts so that we "know it in our minds". We tend to look at the physical and say that it is spiritual. We cannot know the mind of God except it is revealed to us by revelation. This is because the mind of God cannot be written down in a way that others can read it and understand it. It is like saying that we shouldn't point our middle finger at people. Sure, a law is given and I can follow it, but the physical action means nothing it is the spiritual feeling and intent and perception behind the action where the higher law is found. I could go to England and hold up my 2 fingers and give the same insult. The higher law focuses on the meaning behind the symbols, not the symbols themselves.

The lower law is a type of things to come but not the end thereof. The lower points to the higher and is a symbol of the higher law. The higher law was not actually created and cannot be destroyed. It is to say that God discovered it, learn it and follows it, just as we must discover it, learn it and follow it if we are to be like God. This law is natural and is the foundation of all relationships and societies of equals.

QUOTE
16 Now, repentance could not come unto men except there were a punishment, which also was eternal as the life of the soul should be, affixed opposite to the plan of happiness, which was as eternal also as the life of the soul. - Alma 42:16

These laws are as eternal as the Intelligences is which cannot be created or destroyed. There is no end to the higher law, so, I am speaking of the lower laws.

There are laws associated with the spheres or kingdoms as well. These laws are directly connected with the truths associated with each kingdom or sphere.
QUOTE
D&C 93: 30
30 All truth is independent in that sphere in which God has placed it, to act for itself, as all intelligence also; otherwise there is no existence.

QUOTE
39 All beings who abide not in those conditions are not justified.
40 For intelligence cleaveth unto intelligence; wisdom receiveth wisdom; truth embraceth truth; virtue loveth virtue; light cleaveth unto light; mercy hath compassion on mercy and claimeth her own; justice continueth its course and claimeth its own; judgment goeth before the face of him who sitteth upon the throne and governeth and executeth all things. D&C 88:39-40

QUOTE
D&C 88: 21-24, 36
21 And they who are not sanctified through the law which I have given unto you, even the law of Christ, must inherit another kingdom, even that of a terrestrial kingdom, or that of a telestial kingdom.
22 For he who is not able to abide the law of a celestial kingdom cannot abide a celestial glory.
23 And he who cannot abide the law of a terrestrial kingdom cannot abide a terrestrial glory.
24 And he who cannot abide the law of a telestial kingdom cannot abide a telestial glory; therefore he is not meet for a kingdom of glory. Therefore he must abide a kingdom which is not a kingdom of glory.
      "¢  "¢  "¢
  36 All kingdoms have a law given;

Those who have ears to hear, that will make sense. If you have eyes to see, then you understand. If not, try looking cross eyed, in other words don't focus on the physical message, but on the spiritual message.

So the Laws which are fulfilled are lower laws. An example is a child. When do we first tell a child, "Don't play with matches!" Why do we tell them? When they are older can they start playing with matches? What changes? What age does the law get removed? Would Christ have been allowed to "play" with matches from a younger age? Why or why not?

Again, Dbackers, excellent post! Great quotes! And I liked your line by line clarifications!
