Daishain's Way Of The Wicked Pathfinder RPG Review

So, people have managed to convince me to start up a second game.

It will be Pathfinder, and based upon the paizo adventure path called Way of the Wicked. Although as usual, players can expect me to do some editing to improve / streamline the story.

The story is geared towards a lawful evil party. For reasons that I can't disclose without spoiling some things, there should be very little expected in the way of inter party backstabbing. Even if someone's character is particularly untrustworthy

The setting is the nation of Tallingarde, an island nation recently conquered by a society heavily devoted to the sun god Mitra. Basically, the place is run by a bunch of holier-than-thou paladins.

Players will take on the role of a convicted prisoner one that has been found guilty of a serious crime, with the punishment either being death, or life in prison with hard labor.

Unfortunately, I will be keeping the headcount for this one low. Four, maybe five players. I will most likely have to select a party out of a group of applicants. Players should bear in mind that experience with the Pathfinder system is not a requirement. I will be selecting based upon the merits of the character, not how well you know the rules.

Count me in. I really enjoyed the last Pathfinder game here. I'll be rolling some sort of Dhamphir. Not sure of class yet.

I would certainly be interested. I have played Pathfinder a bit, but not for a few years. I have access to the main rulebook though, which should help me.

I would be interested in playing a rogue of some sort, who was performing some sort of perfidious act on behalf of a nation or criminal group and was caught. The exact nature of his crime and background are quite flexible. I love helping the GM advance plots of their choice. Maybe he even was set up by his masters to get caught, and would ultimately be out for a little payback if he can ever escape his current predicament. Or not. I can work with either.

Let's see… was he busted for fraud, forgery, an attempted assassination? GM's choice!

I have only played Pathfinder once, at a table for just a few hours, and would be interested in learning and playing with you all as I know it is very popular. I'll work on a character as much as I can over the next 24 hours *smile*.

I would be interested in playing, this game. I can recall playing, a table top game of this in my late teen years.
Similarities to Dungeons & Dragons but a bit more dark.
