Why Am I Mars?

Today I was questioned by a girl with what she refers to as "the gift". She asks why I have an aura of "Free", although I don't quite understand what this aura means, but considering I seek freedom in life as a goal, perhaps this has something to do with it?

Mars the Merciless has fallen in battle. If one thing could be said about him, it was that he wasn't only merciless to others, but also to himself. His arrogance and pride caused him to enter into conflicts he could not hope to overcome. Yet he fought each battle with vigor and battle lust, his enemies feared him even as they cut him down. So ends the short yet intense life of Mars the Merciless.
