I am Torac - Lady Alexandra first referred to me as an emissary when she suggested that I seek out experiences of the wider world.
I stand five feet, ten inches tall with an athletic body. I have dark blonde hair with blue eyes. My tanned skin and a light stubble appearance in general makes me unique.
I left school with average grades and, needing to earn coin, I set to work as a scribe in the local messengers guild. Consumed with wanderlust, I found dull and it was on the advice of the previously referred to Lady Alexandra, a young noble woman, who came to the guild on business, that I left my home and made my way to Town in order that I might gain some experience of the wider world.
Having given the guild adequate service they agreed that, as my final task with them, I could ride shot gun, on a covered wagon bound for Town.
I see myself as one who follows no one. I will however work with those who prove themselves worthy and decent. I want to travel and see the world and I will seek the work that best allows me to do this. I generally view alliances as positive, but only if equitable.
I do not seek to be the next Ruler of Kings. Instead I will seek to broaden my own experiences through travel and interaction. Perhaps one day Ill settle, raise a family and write my book but until one day, Ill keep seeing what's out there.
Advisor Description
Torac would never forget the young noblewoman and adventuress who had cantered easily into the courtyard of the Messengers Guild and dismounted.
Confident, athletic and cultured Lady Alexandra possessed tan skin which glowed with vitality, full lips, lustrous brunette hair, lit with blonde highlights and pulled into a pony tail. Her emerald eyes reflected wry humour and intelligence. Her white teeth had sparkled when she flashed Torac a dazzling smile.
A real Lady she nevertheless carried a composite bow and wore a light cavalry sword on her back. Despite wearing the weapons easily she exhibited confidence, not arrogance.
Her clothing which, despite being of the highest quality was not ostentatious consisted of padded brown leather armour secured by a silver belt buckle and a dark green travelling cloak held at the neck with a silver clasp.
Despite being Toracs Social superior and several years his senior the Lady Alexandra had listened with empathy to his tale of being bored working as a scribe, and it was she who had advise him to leave his home and seek to gain experience of the wider world. Since that day they had become confidantes - each listening to the other, without judgement and willing to give open and honest advice.
Reflections on your mother
I have the greatest respect for who my mother was.
Her life was far from easy, yet despite this she worked hard to supplement the household income and provide some little extras.
My mother was not a loud person, but when the time came she would fight fiercely to defend the innocent from bullies and oppressors.
The most valuable lesson she taught me was that one, needs to learn to laugh at oneself.
Her life was taken far before its time, by an ailment of the mind.
May she rest in peace.
Reflections on your father
My father was a good man, a decent and honourable man.
He had been both a soldier and a sailor and whilst I grew up he managed the storehouses of a prosperous merchant.
He taught me the values of human decency and that a mans word is his bond. He taught me to be generous but also to be no ones fool.
He was the rock that held our little house together and now that he has gone I miss him terribly.
Most beautiful lady of Torac
The Hobbits request was a funny one his own advisor, the Lady Alexandra already held Toracs heart.
Torac would never forget the young noblewoman and adventuress who had ridden into the courtyard of the Messengers Guild on a white charger. Despite being just three years his senior at 19, she had nevertheless made him feel like the archetypical tongue tied adolescent.
Confident, athletic and cultured she possessed tanned skin which glowed with vitality, full lips, lustrous brunette hair which, lit with blonde highlights hair had been pulled into a pony tail. Her emerald eyes reflected wry humour and intelligence. Her white teeth had sparkled when she flashed him a dazzling smile.
Well endowed, yet not absurdly so Taroc had been unable to take his eyes of her as she had conducted her business at the Messengers Guild. Then she turned to him.

My Dearest Alexandra,
Its hard to believe that arrived in Town over a year ago now. I took your advice and accepted a high risk job of riding shot gun on a covered wagon through marauder territory. We wound up getting ambushed and its fair to say that I took a right beating. If the driver hadn't been so handy with a cudgel I dread to think what might have happened. Suffice to say it'll be a while I'm back to normal.
That said the job paid well and your advice about entering Town with a purse full of gold was spot on. Ive purchased an abode for myself and I've spent the past twelve months equipping myself in the way you suggested (Though not to your standards as I'm trying conserve the money I do have). Im currently in the process of studying and training myself up in some of the essential skills that you spoke about. Ive also spent some time at Palace of Parody improving myself through some of Lady Flukes treatments and testing myself in the labyrinth which you mentioned. This has been the strangest experience - Ill tell you more when we manage to meet up but suffice to say I've died, been resurrected, drunk from a fountain of youth and have killed more bats and dog rats than Id have thought could have existed!
I hope next year to see some actual adventure, but again I'm grateful for your advice to take things slowly so that I might be fully prepared when I do take the leap.
Ill write again soon but in the meantime, despite knowing that you'll be on a treasure hunt in some far flung land, I wish you safe travels.
Your friend,
Torac.
