Its easy to turn down an offer like that if you know your own company is capable of generating that figure and more OR you are simply have enough money and no when to quit while you are ahead. Some people with lots of money want MORE money and they are willing to become ruthless to get it so they put values, honor and standards aside to obtain what they want.
