Topical Application of Turmeric Curcumin for Cancer
Topical application for turmeric curcumin for cancerIn my video, Turmeric Curcumin and Colon Cancer, I talked about a study where researchers showed that, by taking curcumin, the yellow pigment in the spices turmeric and curry powder, those at high risk for colon cancer could cut down on precancerous and even pre-precancerous lesions, in effect reversing cancer progression. Contrary to decades of hype, curcumin alone is unlikely to boost health
Curcumin, a compound in turmeric, continues to be hailed as a natural treatment for a wide range of health conditions, including cancer and Alzheimer's disease. But a new review of the scientific literature on curcumin has found it's probably not all it's ground up to be. The report instead cites evidence that, contrary to numerous reports, the compound has limited -- if any -- therapeutic benefit. Ref. Source 4q.
Turmeric could have antiviral properties. Curcumin, a natural compound found in the spice turmeric, could help eliminate certain viruses, research has found. A study showed that curcumin can prevent Transmissible gastroenteritis virus (TGEV) - an alpha-group coronavirus that infects pigs - from infecting cells. At higher doses, the compound was also found to kill virus particles. Source 3q.
