If one can get into a descent well maintain vessel for under 20k and you do not mind the busy marine/trailer park style life it is a cheap get away. Me I would see it as acceptable as you are really no different then a hotel far noise ect.

If I am going to get on the water it is going to be in a pontoon type boat. I want one that is closed in some but not all the way. I want one where I can spend the whole day on the water and not come in until night. Plus one that is powerful enough to take the kids tubing.
