Getting Sick At The Beach
We live in the Caribbean and only sometimes make it to the beach but when we do the boys sometimes get sick for a few days after. One would think that open an air and sea salt would make it hard for anyone to get sick but it isn't the case because of contamination from pollution.

Additionally, some pathogens develop resistance so the salt water does not affect them and then there are viruses which are technically not 'alive' as we know it (See Discussion: Virus - Living Or Not?) so they can attack you anywhere. Do you or those around you have issues with getting sick while at the beach?

Beach The Sick Getting
The best beaches are the ones that are the least popular. The water is clean and there aren't many access points for filthy people to dump their refuse and feces. We used to have some really nice beaches where this wasn't a worry but its not that way anymore. Everywhere you go there is trash and people dumping.
