don't speak o lound with Lana gone, she has been gone twice already and came back again and again. We need to know how long her contract is with the show to know for sure. Thinking about it we haven't seen Kara, Louis and a few others for quite awhile now. By the way, when does the net episode start, Thursdy they have a rerun on the CW.

Please don't even get me started on Kara. For one I never liked the Supergirl character in any respect, and the actress that portrays her is in my opinion one of the worst actors I have seen in a long time. I would deal with Lana's return if they threatened to bring Kara back. My jaw was clenched so tight watching any episode with Kara in it, that I developed a headache after the episode. I think I have a bit of headache right now just typing her name.

I think the next episode starts in March. I hope the story heads towards something more serious as it isn't long before this season ends in June I think.

The last episode was her last one. So you won't see her again (Thank goodness! Nothing personal Kristi Kreuk )

I really think Season 9 will probably be the last one of Smallville. I mean, how much longer they can stretch it for without becoming a Superman series? They will probably develop more the relationship between Clark and Lois (after Clark takes few episodes to recover from the drama with Lana *laughs*) and then put the silly cape on once and for all and become Superman.

For those who wondered about Lex, well obviously he is alive since we are watching Smallville. When Clark becomes Superman, Lex is also in the picture.

That is good because I found the Lana character and 'odd' figure in the whole Superman fiasco. Do we even have a Lana anywhere else in the comic world? Let's hope we can post something positive here for the next episode.

Of course, Lana Lang is a friend of Clark since they are in elementary school. She falls in love with Clark but kind of ended in high school. She ends up marrying another friend of Clark, Pete Ross after she sells her farm and moves to Washington DC. They even had a child together and they name him Clark Pete after Clark saves her baby.

Oh please, such an insignificant part to the whole Superman affair. I guess when he had to rescue her baby she forgot she had her own kryptonite absorption power to do it her self, but wait, we are following the mixup called, "Smallville" .

There is much more like when Lex kidnaps her with the purpose of finding out Clark's true identity but she never tells him. She hoped for Clark to marry her but he was in love with Lois. She ends up being one of the bridesmaids in their wedding. It does not matter if it is insignificant or not, you asked whether she was in the comics and I am just providing you with the info.
