President Thomas S. Monson, first counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will celebrate his 76th birthday today.
President Monson intends to celebrate his birthday quietly, spending a good part of the day doing church work at the office and then enjoying the company of his family in the evening.
He was born on Aug. 21, 1927, in Salt Lake City to G. Spencer and Gladys Condie Monson....
