Indonesia Extremist Groups

In Indonesia which Extremist Groups are considered taboo or are often involved in controversial activities? Do the people in Indonesia feel enticed to join these Extremist Groups in a similar way to how Robin Hood gained a following?

FPI basically roughly translated as front islamic defender (Not sure that what the name in English are, I am not gonna bother to check) its an islamic extremist group that pretty much do what your typical extremist zealot do, multiple times they have done riot and clash with local culture as its not according to their islamic value range from vandalism to destruction of such culture object or place, despite the government claim as taboo group, they gain quite a lot of follower just like how muhammad gain follower trough sword and pillage, they are no different than group of thug covered in religious attire.
