I am writing this topic about Robert Mugabe, the "Bad Bob" of Zimbabwe. When he first was elected president he started as a savior. What happened? First he goes on a personal paranoia with how Blair wants to take over Zimbabwe, bans political parties, and redistributes land and mostly recently destroyed houses of squatters.
I think personally, Robert Mugabe is an evil person. A demagogous person who thinks that the ends justify the means, a person who only cares about himself. Has he done anything good for the Zimbabweans?
Most likely he was never good to begin with. People don't generally do a complete turn around like that and really change. I would say that he knew how to play the part to get elected, now he is doing what ever he wishes including get rid of political opposition. Everytime I see him in the news it is always for something bad. I remember seeing him on CNN when he first came to power, there was allot of hope by locals and natives, but it looks like he has turned out to be the opposite.
