Virginia's attorney general says he wore blackface at a college party, the third recent scandal among the state's leaders. Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring admitted Wednesday that he, too, once put on blackface while in college. Herring released the statement days after the Gov. Ralph Northam admitted to wearing blackface in the 1980s for a Michael Jackson dance contest. Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, in line to succeed Northam, has been accused of sexual misconduct that he has vehemently denied. Herring is next in line for the governorship. Ref. USAToday.
What a bad start for him, blackface should've never been done in the first place, even with permission from the people around as well. Wearing blackface was always a controversial situation that should always be avoided in the first place, no matter what point you're trying to make since it's very likely to cause conflict. Not only that but Mark has other things against him, making him into a tighter situation.
