Sesquizygotic Twins

First semi-identical twins identified in pregnancy. Boy and girl twins in Brisbane, Australia, have been identified as only the second set of semi-identical, or sesquizygotic, twins in the world -- and the first to be identified by doctors during pregnancy. Source 9n.

It must've been unusual to have a twin that looks quite similar to you but a different gender, and probably confuses the perspective on those who will have associations with the twins. I'm sure they will lead a very interesting life.
