The Game Master says...

The man twists his lip and then shakes head slightly at your stubbornness. He returns to the area where he made the infusion. Now he works with his herbs again this time putting them into a bowl with hot coals so that it gives off an aroma. He places the bowl in the center of the room. The smoke from the burning herbs and other mixtures gives off a strange smell which causes you to feel a bit sleepy.

Thorin becomes vexed that the man will try anyhow he can to get that mixture into his body. He stands up and insists that he is now leaving. He goes to the door and looks for his companions outside to explain what happened.

Before you can leave the man pulls out a black serpent shaped dagger from within his robes, points it towards you and tells you in a rough voice that you are not allowed to leave. Just as he does so those that were meditating rise to their feet to assist. You find yourself surrounded but not incapable.

As Sapphire waits on Thorin and seeing that Krusten is not here she figures to continue her own development thus she uses her return key.

Taking out the Return Key, Sapphire says,"I shall return to the meh reality." Sapphire uses the Return Key which causes a bright light to surround the body of Sapphire. After less than a moment Sapphire fades away and disappears.

The man quickly falls as Thorin wastes no time on sparing death. One of the followers thinks to get Thorin while he is engaged and meets the same fate. The others, upon seeing their fellow chanters go down so quickly decide to make a run for it. Thorin is left in the room.
