It is said that the symbol is used to represent white supremacy, which I think Brenton did it to ridicule the court. Unfortunately there are plenty people who think like him - but without the full, complete guts to do a genocide.

I hope that he is not ruled to be criminally insane and I do hope they have the death penalty in New Zealand.
