Sexual Perpetrators Escape Prison Time

The vast majority of sexual perpetrators escape prison time. Out of every 1,000 rapes, 995 perpetrators will never be incarcerated, according to an analysis of Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation data conducted by the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN). Unfortunately it really just depends on the state and how they handle cases such as this. Some are really harsh and straight to the point and some takes a lot of time and gives light sentences; this of course will just give more reason for certain people to become criminals themselves.
