Foodie calls: Dating for a free meal (Rather than a relationship). New psychology research reveals 23-33% of women in an online study say they've engaged in a 'foodie call,' where they set up a date for a free meal. These women score high on the 'dark triad' of personality traits as well. Source 5q.
Well, you would already be on a date but the guy might be seeing you as a potential relationship and that's kind of creepy and 'cheap'. Not to mention you have to probably break someone's feelings.
I have a female friend that use to do this. I always told her that I felt it was wrong of her to go on a 'date' but not for the possible romance but just to get a free meal out of the guy.
Honestly, I will admit this feels manipulative.
Because if the only reason a girl was dating someone for free food, while not having the other person find out, would mean that too some degree she'd have to be putting on an act. Faking interest even though she really isn't interested, thus leading the guy on in thinking a relationship is possible. Which I personally feel is kind of messed up.
Especially since at least a few guys are willing to actually spend more money then they can really afford, not just on food but other gifts, in an effort to impress a girl. So considering how some girls might be taking advantage of that makes me kind of sick.
Hello my friends you should not go on a date just for food. They will think that you are using them for food. They will think you are cheap. We should go for the love. I think we would not enjoy going on a date just for free.
