I agree, the remake was such a big mistake. I can't get past how the characters move and communicate. So weird CGI, I couldn't take it seriously. The characters seems that they don't have any expressions nor emotions.

Definitely feel it was a mistake and while I been surprised in liking some of the life action remakes, if such cases very much being more the exception, this was one of the ones which disappointed me the most.

Not only was the CGI characters not nearly as expressive and even lack emotion in areas, but I am one of those people who felt the animation often did come off as an uncanny valley effect where the CGI just felt off at times. Plus, the way the handled the music and songs.

Especially Be Prepared, one of my all time favorite villain songs Disney every produce for their movies. The colors and atmosphere very much helping to make all the better… color lacking in the remake.
