Sarah Palin was a political blunder. JJohn McCain could of had a serious invested apperance by selecting someone with bonfide experience but chose a pretty face instead. People analyzed that as a man that has no clue what he's doing, maybe the same as how George W. is seen today.

Without Palin, Mccain would have lost 58 to 41 rather then the 53 to 46 he lost by (The country is still pretty well divided down the middle in my opinion plus or minus a few percentage points each election).
I base this opinion on the fact that many conservatives like myself were completely unmotivated by the Pseudo conservative John McCain. He was a phony Republican and always will be in my book. He even bragged at his fighting his own party (I.E. tearing down real conservative values.) McCain was right when he said he was the only one to blame for his loss, and I am sickened by his advisers who are now blaming Palin for their campaigns failures. The only reason I was excited about this ticket was because of this pick.
Palin was treated differently by the press. Imagine if Palin had said that she had visited 57 states (like Obama said), and said Roosevelt would have gotten in front of the Television and comforted the American People in the 1929 crash (Televisions were not in use in 1929 and Roosevelt wasn't even president) by Joseph Biden. There is ample evidences that Obama is inexperienced and Biden is just stupid. Where were the press when they were gaffing left and right?
Regardless of who was the Vice Presidential Pick by McCain, the press in the U.S. were in the pocket of the Obama campaign.
What we need in the White house is a real conservative who supports individual freedom and fiscal responsibility and not another liberal spender like George W Bush. He (George Bush) is the real reason Obama won this year. You can blame him, not the most inspired pick (in my opinion) of a vice president in my lifetime.
Palin has a great future in Conservative circles. We have not seen the last of her.
Rather off topic, but... Ronald Reagan did not succeed in his presidential bids in 1968 and 1976. He was thought of as stupid and out of touch by the liberal left. Yet he was elected President in 1980 and succeeded in championing conservatism for years to come. In my opinion experience comes with trying and failing, and learning from those failures, and then coming back stronger. I hope Sarah comes back strong and comes back as energized as ever. It will at least be interesting to see her in the future and how she affects the Republican party. |

Sarah Palin's Daughter Bristol Gives Birth to Son, Abortion Was Campaign Issue
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The daughter of former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has given birth to a son after her teenage pregnancy sparked a debate over abortion during the campaign. Reports indicate 18-year-old Bristol Palin gave birth to Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston on Saturday. Although the governor's office plans to release no information about the birth, calling it a private, family matter, Bristol's grandmother's sister Colleen Jones talked about the birth with People magazine. Jones says Tripp was born at 7 pounds, 4 ounces and that "the baby is fine and Bristol is doing well." The Palin family won kudos for supporting their pregnant daughter Bristol when she announced she was pregnant and would marry her boyfriend, Levi Johnston. Melinda Delahoyde, the president of Care Net, told LifeNews.com at the time of the announcement that the Palin family deserved praise for helping their daughter choose life during a difficult situation.

Sarah Palin Speaks Out on the Birth of Her Grandson Tripp, Teen Pregnancy
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Former vice-presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is speaking out for the first time on the birth of her new grandson. Palin's daughter Bristol disclosed her pregnancy shortly after she was named as John McCain's running mate and it sparked a national debate on abortion and teen pregnancy. Palin says she welcomes her first grandchild, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, born to Bristol and her fiance' Levi Johnston on December 27. "We are over the moon with the arrival of this healthy, beautiful baby," Governor Palin said. "The road ahead for this young couple will not be easy, but nothing worthwhile is ever easy." "Bristol and Levi are committed to accomplish what millions of other young parents have accomplished, to provide a loving and secure environment for their child. They are both hard workers, they're very strong, and have faith they've made the right decision in setting aside their own interests to make this child their highest priority," the governor said in a statement LifeNews.com obtained.

Media Malpractice
John Ziegler, producer of the documentary Media Malpractice joined Glenn today to talk about the release of a film that shows the unfair treatment the media gave to Sarah Palin. As he makes the media rounds, the left leaning 'news' folks aren't buying his theory. But it's not that difficult a theory to prove because there is video evidence everywhere you turn. Ref. Source 9
How's Sarah Palin doing post election?
Now that the national media has trashed Sarah Palin and exposed the crazy religious wacko zealot as a kooky person of faith - how have the people of her home state reacted? The latest polls from Alaska suggest the hillbillies up there in Alaska must not have TV's. Ref. Source 4
Sarah Palin Presents Pro-Life Views, Advocates for the Disabled During Right to Life Speech
Evansville, IN (LifeNews.com) -- Sarah Palin captured the attention of nearly 3,000 pro-life advocates during a speech at what is billed as the largest Right to Life banquet anywhere in the country. The speech was the first major public event during 2009, the year following her Republican nomination for vice-president and one in which she may establish herself as a 2012 presidential candidate. Palin criticized pro-abortion President Barack Obama for his rapidly growing pro-abortion record and she challenged the idea that abortion is the only solution for women -- even during a time of financial distress. The possible presidential hopeful said that deciding when babies get human rights isn't above her pay grade -- a reference to candidate Obama's answer to a question during a forum with evangelical Pastor Rick Warren. Palin created a special closeness with the audience when she took time to look inward and focus on her own pro-life choices in life -- when she and her husband decided to give birth to a baby with Down syndrome in an era when 90 percent of babies with the condition die in abortions. "The moment he was born, I knew that moment my prayers had been answered," Palin said. "Trig is a miracle. He is the best thing that ever happened to me and I want other women to have that opportunity." "I know for sure my son is perfect just as he is, made in the image of God," she said. "A baby is God's opinion that the world should go on." Ref. Source 5
