President Sarah Palin
By Margaret Kimberley
Smug Democrats love to imagine they are a species apart from Sarah Palin, the "pit bull with lipstick." However, U.S. Political history teaches us never to overestimate the intelligence of the American electorate, or trust a Democrat - many of whom were Republicans not very long ago. At root, Palin's supporters are "white nationalists," the same people that adored Ronald Reagan and, yes, George Bush. So why is it so hard to imagine a Palin presidency? Ref. Source 4
Glenn's one on one with Sarah Palin
Glenn met Sarah Palin face to face for the first time yesterday, and then interviewed her for a full hour on Fox News. Glenn really enjoyed spending time with the former Governor, and has a lot to share about the meeting and the interview. Glenn talks about his impressions of the Palin family and which segment do liberals seem to think was most interesting from the interview? Ref. Source 8
Palin v. Glenn?
As if there needed to be proof that tabloids are ridiculous, the latest evidence comes from a report that claims Glenn is 'furious' that Sarah Palin is trying to take his 5pm slot on Fox. This info supposedly came from an 'insider' at Fox News - if that's the case then it likely came from the guy in the basement with the red stapler. Glenn and Sarah talk ridiculous rumors and Scott Brown on radio this morning. Ref. Source 8
Sarah Palin and Daughter Appear on Magazine Cover Saying They Chose Life
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Sarah Palin and her daughter Bristol were recently featured on the cover of the latest issue of In Touch Weekly. The cover featured smiling pictures of mother and daughter and the words "We're Glad We Chose Life."
The magazine declared: "Though raising an infant has been challenging, Bristol has the unconditional love and support of her family - especially her mother, Sarah Palin. After all, no one can better understand the complicated decision to have a baby under difficult circumstances. Just a year earlier, at the age of 44, Sarah carried her son Trig to term, even though she was told during a sonogram that he would be born with Down syndrome. Now, the mother and daughter are sharing a unique experience- raising baby boys together under the same roof."
Daniella Bean of the National Catholic Register commented on the cover. "Well, this is bound to stick in someone's craw. Pretty much everything Sarah Palin does seems to, so it might as well be a bold pro-life statement that gets her into trouble this time," she said. "However you feel about Sarah Palin's politics or personal life, pro-life Catholics have to appreciate the positive, life-affirming message she and her daughter send in this interview. There is, after all, no shortage of those who do not appreciate such a pro-life message. Who will in fact sneer at it. And roll their eyes." Ref. LifeNews.com
I really don't see any issue here at all. President Obama creates carefully worded speeches that go on forever, with every word apparently shown on the teleprompter. You can tell this, because whenever the teleprompter is NOT available, he stumbles all over himself.
Sarah Palin had a prepared speech. I saw her look down at it many times. However, she didn't READ it. She referred to it. It may have just been some notes, just like any prepared speaker. What was on her hand? Four or five words? My guess is that they were some last minute thoughts she had that she wanted to remember while speaking. Something NOT contained in her notes.
And that is the real crux of the matter. The President can't speak clearly without reading the whole thing from his teleprompter. There have been several times where the wrong word made its way onto the teleprompter, and he wasn't even paying attention to what he was saying, just read it straight off the prompter. Sarah Palin gave a speech, knowing what she was saying, speaking, not reading. I don't know if she wrote her own speech, perhaps she had someone else help her put it into words. Obama almost certainly doesn't write his own speeches, just like most presidents before him. But Sarah knew what her speech was about, and knew enough to be able to add notes, on her hand, to make her points.

Writer Kathleen Parker Under Fire for Suggesting Sarah Palin Exploiting Son Trig
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Conservative opinion columnist Kathleen Parker, who does not take a pro-life position opposing legal abortions, is coming under fire. In a weekend column, Parker suggested pro-life former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin was exploiting her developmentally disabled son Trig.
Palin is a darling of the pro-life movement and was lauded for putting her pro-life views into practice when pregnant with Trig.
While more than 90-95 percent of pregnancies involving physically disabled unborn children like him who are diagnosed with Down syndrome are eventually killed in abortions, Palin chose life for her baby.
Since then, she has become even more outspoken against abortion and has dedicated herself to supporting families and children who are disabled.
Parker points to Palin's comments in response to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, who is pro-abortion, calling developmentally disabled children retarded. Palin invoked Trig's name and Parker now claims that Palin has a problem separating herself from her child. Ref. Source 8
