Mysterious Person at the Tavern

A stranger approached and I was warry because I had not been accustomed to being the one 'cornered'. I was made to relax a bit by the offer of drinks and a table to sit and talk. I guess I was also impressed by the manners the man with hood displayed because he seemed to be of a class unbeknown to me or I should say I haven't been around anyone noble of late. Still his words were comforting and when he said that I would be getting an endowment I was perked for something good to happen. The drinks were good as they usually were and now I await on the agreed time to receive the gift.
