Disney CEO Bob Iger to step down immediately, saying it's 'optimal time to transition'. Bob Chapek, the head of Disney Parks, will take over the top role at Disney effective immediately. Iger will stay on as executive chairman. Ref. USAToday.

He might not be CEO anymore but he will still get closely involved with Disney's operations even during the corona virus pandemic. Although Bob Iger still has a specific role directing certain positions within disney he apparently decided to let another person take the role, I believe there might be specific reasons that might be untold than what he expressed to the public.
