President Donald Trump removes the top watchdog for $2.2 trillion coronavirus stimulus program. Glenn Fine, the acting inspector general for the Pentagon, was selected by fellow inspectors general to chair the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee, which is overseeing the stimulus deal. Trump replaced him in the watchdog role at the Pentagon, which effectively removes him from the oversight role on stimulus. Ref. USAToday.
