Linda Tripp, whose secretly recorded tapes with Monica Lewinsky led to President Clinton's impeachment, has died at 70. Tripp made secret tapes of conversations with Lewinsky, a former White House intern who told her she had an affair with Clinton. Tripp turned almost 20 hours of tapes over to Kenneth Starr, the independent prosecutor investigating the president, prompting the investigation that led to his impeachment in 1998. Ref. USAToday
