Anxiety is nothing to play around with or take lightly. While it most commonly effects social aspects of a person it can easily take the health completely away as well. I have experienced several people that are very close to me have a true issue with anxiety and I must admit that I feel lucky that I have never had to deal with this personally. In at least two of the cases close to me it was triggered by work environment. In one instance a job change correctly the problem but in the other they simply sat down with their boss and explained the pressures that they were feeling over their duties and the politics within the office and basically took themselves out of the drama that was building emotion in the office.

Anxiety is a curse…
Sometimes it comes for no reason, paired with a lingering feeling of guilt, incompleteness, unhappiness, etc. My boyfriend goes through it, but its mostly his job. He's supportive of me when I have my bouts of anxiety and/or depression so I've been as supportive as possible considering our physical distance. (I'm in Utah, he will be in Pennsylvania…) The distance is also a little source of anxiety, but we're dealing with it carefully and positively.
