Check this post I found on the Rehab Drugs and Alcohol Forum: Source 3

Does this mean those who are Autistic / ADHD also fall into the same bracket?

Health Mental Paying

I think in the long run it might lower medical costs and could have positive aspects in decreasing crime and court costs associated with addictive crimes.

Paying For Mental Health Health & Special Psychology

Since a lot of people seem to have either autism or ADHD nowadays I think grouping them in with other mental illnesses may help the health care industry better care for and help those who need it. I would view this as a potentially good thing.

Health Mental Paying

I would hope so. This is good news, I hope it is more than just lip services. One of the hardest parts of my job is to find outpatient services for patients who have no benefits. They just end up cycling back into the hospital like a revolving door.

Insurance companies should pay for mental health more than they do. This should include those with autism spectrum and ADHD. It would benefit society in the long run.
