The Buffalo Police Department’s initial statement was that “one person was injured when he tripped & fell” in a skirmish between police and protesters. But minutes later, local station WBFO broadcast the video of the incident, prompting an Internal Affairs investigation and Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood’s move to suspend the two officers. The man's name is Martin Gugino and he did not deserve this. It is one thing to push him back but its a whole other thing to just walk by him when you see him bleeding.

I have two minds about this. I will need to know what he said to the police officers and how he tried to stop them. I am saying this because he went up to them when they were moving forward and the push they gave him did not seem that aggressive. What I did find really bad was not coming to his aide when he was on the ground. You can see from the video that only the national guard stopped to assist.

He's a really old guy, they did not need to use so much force to push him back. They didn't have to push him at all, just go around him.
