Jasher is likely the first person you visit when you get to the Town at least he was for me. I get drawn to armor before I even get a weapon. Maybe that's my defensive thinking.

I can't see myself buying anything less than scale armor. Everyone is on a budget but padded and leather just doesn't fit right.

The Armorer is unlikely to do any more good deals for anyone until he gets the armor back from the Weapon master, Caleb but will likely start to be back to his normal fair way of working once Caleb finally returns the armour.

Yes, I would love to get an armor right away! Even a padded leather to start with would be great. I guess it is an instinct to first defend yourself when in an unfamiliar territory.

In my opinion, always go for the best armor from the start if you can afford it. You will avoid a lot of regret later if you try to go cheap on armor. Jasher has a nice enough selection to make a difference.

Yes! I bought a scale armor, the best sword, shield and head gear. I noticed that my starting coins allowed me to buy those things.
