Stefani Flores Cedeño Assaulted In Trinidad

Stefani Flores Cedeño, an 18 year old woman from Venezuela, was attempting to get a ride to sell empanadas when men (They look like they could be in their 20s) attempted to rape her. She fought furiously and was stabbed multiple times in the process. Fortunately, quick police work led to apprehension of these monsters. Such crimes against Venezuelans living in Trinidad will cause division and animosity. What is worst is knowing she was a former beauty queen has riled up the news agencies in Venezuela and a very strong demand for justice. I hope Stefani Cedeño makes a full medical recovery and is able to manage the psychological trauma she will have to live with for the rest of her life.

Someone posted a comment on social media about this happening to other Venezuelan women but they are afraid or ashamed to report the crime. A lot of it is by men in taxis specially these PH taxis. Lord knows this happens to our local women too many of them not even adults and in school uniform!
