I have played AD&D, off and on, from about 1985 to present. I am no expert and most of my experience is in version 2e. I have played DDO online and enjoyed the Massive Multi-player Online Role-playing Game format. I have also participated in play by post formats. I enjoy playing most character types, but I am not especially great at any of them. I will confess that I may have bitten off more than I can chew. I'd like to see this style of gaming and give it a good try.
Welcome adventurer. The current Role-playing Game in this Community is Ruler of Kings II which is a custom text based Role-playing Game and while similar it is not Dungeons & Dragons. I dare say, for the purpose of solo online entertainment while still maintaining a detailed character and imaginative development you will find that ROK II is far more diverse and engaging.
