Character sheet for Ruler of Kings II.
I, am Broc; this name is bestowed on me. My mother saw how bold and determined my rock solid eyes are. She knew I was destined for great things in my future to come. I have drawn breath for sixty-four seasons on this plane of existence; or sixteen years, according to the years of man.
The living of this realm shall address me as knight. I have always looked as myself as my father was, a knight. However unlike my father I do not plan to sign my allegiance to anyone of the realm. I offer my services in exchange for wealth and fame. This is why I never chose the life of a Paladin. I was born, well… no-one gets to choice with what they're born with; now do they?
I was born a human and as human as they get, with a average up-bring… well average in my eyes anyways. My parents Rosemary (My mother) and Oswald (My father) are very traditional in their walks of life. They met one night during harvesting season from neighboring farms. My parents` were encouraged and given the blessings of each others families. My father has ivory skin like coast in a far off world.
Oswald has eyes as green as the most thickest of forest and hair as gold as a kings chalice, muscles that would put any orc to shame. He stood as tall as any strong lumber. My mother has hair as red as the fire within her heart of the love she has for dear father. Rosemary with her eyes as blue as the innocent sky and a voice as deep as the ocean, she tall like father. Her skin as bright and innocent as a priest robes that were woven in heaven.
She kept in shape until the end I miss her to this day so dearly. My father would always have this gaze that pricked the eyes of men liked a spiked rose, my mother always had shorter hair than father which always found satire. My father has long hair to be fair. I tower at 6 feet and 4 inches. I am a tall man however I am not the tallest which always levels me down.
There is always some-one better and I strive to out do them, whoever they might be. I aim to be the strongest in the land and we shall see who can stop me. I have eyes as hard and colorful as ice and hair as auburn as before winter, straight & frizzy. My skin is like my fathers and mothers the color of winter and death. My cheeks are round as apples and my jaw as round and pushed out like a brick to a secrete passage. More forehead is barbaric and ancient and my hair hangs to the left of my skull with the right lower side if m hair shaved off completely.
My skull is bulky and my ears are common. My nose is round and pointy as if a civic crown is meant for me. My clothing is that of a nomad; I have a black tunic with cut-out triangular stripes numbered in seven at the bottom. I have purple trousers and lack sandals currently.
I have a brown hemp rope for a belt. I see myself as fighter and always have. My goals are to be a mercenary unlike my father. I inspire to be the grates mercenary in all the land and to lead a house of my own one day.
My trade, is the apprentice in the arts of war, I make my body & mind as sharp as any knights sword. Alliances are beneficial only in the eyes of the beholder until they no longer suit him. I intend to earn capital at a generous rate and recruit men, one by one and rule as much as I can. Anyone can be my friend or enemy when it suits me. I see the world as my kingdom and people as the pieces to lead me to king.
Thus my life of adventure begins as it started; learning how to walk, talk and run the world as I did with my own body.
A Sentimental Value
I took this item for the purpose I need it for. I could have taken something such as a portrait of dear mother or father. All their memories live inside me and I carry them like a torch in the dark; now and always. I can't very well rule or so much as get far without bloodshed wanted or not.
This weapon shall serve me more than any memory. Memories are like faith, they won't keep you warm or stay your appetite. My path is long and hard and I have reason behind my choices more than feelings. He who has little faith says "farewell" when the road is darkest. On the battlefield my shield is my protector and my sword my savoir.
Advisor Description
Me and Arthur met on a sunny day in town square. He was viewing a speech he had made. The speech was for his introduction to me oddly enough. He looked of a man of importance so I approached him.
He greeted me with a smile and his hands flung in the air as he explained who he was. Knowing that he was a older man of a political background I felt relieved I had a man with experience in both life and politics watching over my shoulder. I see this man as a useful adviser fit for a king. He treats me like his own son, taking me under his wing and showing me everything he knows of life and politics.
I look at Arthur more as a Uncle, some old man that can give me good advice and wishes for me to succeed in my quest for kingship. Arthur hopes for me to be king and him my adviser. He suspects I'll get myself killed far before any crown is bestowed on my head. Arthur has much to teach me and he gets on my nerves with his old man rambles at times.
