Barron Trump, a very tall 10 year old, is the first son in the White House as his parents are the First Lady and President of the USA. Barron Trump, by no means of his own, was put into the spotlight of the media that scrutinize everything. Unfortunately, they have chosen to belittle, cyberbully and say very unkind things about Barron Trump which are uncalled for. No matter how you feel about Donald Trump, the GOP or the far Right it is no reason to target a child who is only 10 years old! Social media need to back off and stop trying to be parents.

The interesting thing about this particular case is that there is an unwritten understanding that children of Presidents (Minors) are off limits but they are creating fake Twitter accounts of Barron and some people are saying horrible things, making fun of this boy, etc. My goodness, just stop!

I agree, the media needs to back off specially social media they are focusing on him way too much. Leave Barron alone!

Many target the children of a celebrity or person of interest because perhaps they see them as easier to harm or attack. They don't like their parent or parents so go after those of greater venerability because they keep to find a way of hurting those important to the one they wish attack.

Many are just terrible people, not caring who they hurt as long as they get what they want and do that which makes them feel better. Many are angry that Trump won, so sadly I am not surprised to see the attacks against his wife and son.

Thats right Thomaslee. People are only sensitive to issues that happen to them. If Barron was their son, brother or friend they would be outraged.

Sad that the children are the ones who have to pay the price for their parent's decisions. I hope Barron will be alright with all this exposure he is getting.

It's disgusting that people do things like that. Only someone eaten up with bitterness or hate would target a ten year old child.
