Coronavirus - COVID-19 in Iowa. What is being done in Iowa to stop the spread of the Coronavirus - COVID-19 so it does not become a national epidemic?
Despite warning, Trump headed to Iowa's COVID-19 'yellow zone' for rally. The White House coronavirus task force has repeatedly urged Iowa leaders to take stronger steps to rein in the pandemic, but President Donald Trump won't be heeding their advice on social gatherings at his campaign rally Wednesday in Des Moines. The White House task force's latest report carried a dire warning for the state: “Community transmission has remained high across the state for the past month, with many preventable deaths.” The report classifies the area as being in a “yellow zone” for virus transmission and advised gatherings should be limited to 25 or fewer people. "If anyone in attendance is infectious, we are potentially looking at another super-spreader event," said Lina Tucker Reinders, executive director of the Iowa Public Health Association. Ref. Who is more silly? Trump for going to a state that is trying to cut back gatherings or the people that will go to that Trump rally knowing they could be infected or infect others. No one cares about others anymore.
