Comments: This situation is not uncommon throughout the world. The act is perhaps as old as our creation. In order to minimize this type of action, every person has to take full responsibility/accountability for his/her action- and whereas I may draw some nasty comments- let us be mindful of who we are. We are animals- our inherent instincts are to be greedy, our desires are to procreate, cheat, lie and kill. Apart from technology- we haven't advanced very much from our roots.

Comments: I have just read about the rape of a 13year old school girl which must be one of the most degrading things to happen to a young female anywhere in the world. I must allocate most of the blame for this particular incident on our politicians in the corridors of power here, especially s they know what is happening in our present crazy crime scenario. If the government had called the expected State of Emergency this young girl may have never been subjected to such an ordeal. I really do not understand how the minds of our politicians work here. They know the solution to all of the criminal antics and yet they do nothing day after day to try to resolve it. All they have to offer is lip service but no follow-up action. Whoever is reading this, for or god sake do something to encourage our politicians to act quickly in a manner that would bring about less fear, stem the flow of similar types of crime which is now on the increase here. We just can't go on like this for much longer.

Comments: There is no doubt that some of our politicians need their heads examined. I refer to the suggestion by one here proposing introducing hanging for the crime of rape. What this chap failed to recognize is that here we don't even hang murders although there is an urgent need to start doing so.by restoring the death penalty.
