I think that all these tax increase talks I keep hearing means that while we are struggling to make ends meet the government is going to raise our taxes making it even harder to get by. I am glad I do not live in maryland.

So they are struggling for income. Everyone is struggling pretty much these days. and so their answer is to legalize slot machines so people who already do not have money to pay their bills and mortgages can throw it away faster to help fund the government. Good plan - at least for the government.
