Do You Know What To Do In A Nuclear Attack?

There was a site I once found where you could enter your location and it would tell you if a nuclear bomb dropped 'x' miles from you the effect would be 'x'. If anyone knows what I am talking about please put the link here. Anyhow, would you know what to do if a Nuclear Attack took place?

Well I think the articles were interesting, but I doubt many of us know what to do if we were to have a nuclear attack.  I think the guy ruinning the site is off his rocker. He's telling people to hop off their anti- depressants (which for some can be very dangerous, no matter how many times you think good thoughts. Did you read of his site? it's like watching "The Music Man" :ch

I went to the site and I think is very informative. Hey Monkeygirl, can you tell me exactly where it says about the anti-depresants, I looked for it but I didn't see it.
The signs, warnings and what to do are pretty clear in the site. Thanks for the info JB.

I did not go to the site mentioned.  I have always felt that I would rather not survive a nuclear attack.  I don't know what I would actually do if one occured.  But I hope that I would simply be where I was and continue what I was doing.

I read the article, and it seems a little impractical to me.  I guess I am not going to survive the fall out.  I can't imagine building this fall out shelter today in my house in the manner described, so will I really have time after the blast.

I would of course be important to have water stored and food.

Thanks for that. I once found a site that could pinpoint how much trouble you would be in if you were 'x' miles from if a bomb hit 'y' place. It was very interesting to see what the affects would be if a nuke happened near your location. Anyone knows where it is?
