Five suburban Denver police officers and medics indicted by a grand jury in the 2019 death of a young Black man walking home from a store. Elijah McClain, 23, died after being thrown to the ground, restrained and being injected with the tranquilizer Ketamine. The defendants face charges that include manslaughter and assault. Source 9v.
