The first thing that stood out to me is that he hasn't made himself available to the police so they could question him. If someone is missing and you care about them the first thing you do is go to the police!

I also find it really strange that he didn't go to the police to talk. The article says he has a lawyer already, so he has no reason no to.

The sad thing is the police stopped them earlier the same day and had a chance to address it.

Seems like they were both fighting with each other often and perhaps it went to far and she died. The parents may not of helped but at the same time did not assist police either. Who knows.
