I have actually been told that I could be a big man model several times. I think it is kind of superficial and it actually had the opposite affect on me. It made me feel kind of disgusting and not very masculine for some reason.
I think the whole thing is degrading. Beautiful women feel very insecure about all of this over commercialized world of the supposed "Ideal figure'.
I like women that are a little thicker to. I like the muscular/body fat/feminine look. I always wanted to wrestle a little sometimes. O.K, enough said on that. I don't know much about all of these skin and bones models. They actually kind of aggravate me. It almost looks like you have to hold them up.
I mean give that girl a hamburger or something. She looks like she is starving. She would just puke it up anyway, so what is the point. They look like they are going to pass out half the time.
We should start a save the starving models' sponsor.
I feel the whole fashion industry disgusts me. It degrades women, it promotes eating disorders, anorexia, bulimia, it promotes women to feel ugly, it promotes women to have plastic surgery, it promotes women to feel 100 pounds is overweight and 110 pounds is obese.
Marilyn Monroe is considered one of the most beautiful women in modern history, yet if she lived, in her prime, today, she would be considered overweight. I feel that is sad. There has been numerous women that I"ve met, that are 140 pounds and over, that were gorgeous yet you wouldn't know that any beautiful women over 120 pounds in the world, if the fashion industry has its say.
Yah, I don't like all of those women that have grown up watching all this stuff on TV with how they are supposed to look. They got so many problems. I actually feel really bad for them because a lot of it is just ingrained in them from an early age. They become the very products they buy. Just a walking advertisement. They have been trained to consume to make the rich richer. I don't think most of them are happy. I am not against make-up or them making themselves look good. I know they like to do that, but it has been taken a little far in out society and I think a lot of these girls are suffering because of it. I am just not attracted to those types anymore and I really never was. I Got a girl that takes care of herself but isn't into all that corporation mind screwing stuff. She doesn't watch TV.
I think it causes a lot of other women to be depressed because they don't look a certain way (Good women). I think that men are brainwashed into all of this with the Ideal look and they stress their women out more by expecting them to be something they are not. It is so evil.
Kill your TV.

I think you guys are focusing on runway models? There are models for all occasions, it depends on what is needed. Sometimes plus size models are called up for certain ads. Even a short model might just be doing hands or feet only print ads, so not all models suck or follow what's on the screen.
That is very true Redlips. I do not know how much these models make compared to the runway types that are the glam glam girls. I guess that is why we focus on that type when we hear the word model. A friend of mine used to be a hand model made a bit of fun money with it. She had really nice hands.

Most models I see in ads and in photographs I would say that 85% of them are of thin almost starving women. This is why I say that most agencies and other modeling places look for these type of women to grace the womens magazines and even fashion magazines. This is why I believe that models suck. As long as most of the women are portrayed as these thin next to nothing girls then they are not getting a good look at all the great looking ladies that are out here in this fine world.
It's not just modeling that is bad. Just look at any TV show or any movie.
There is a phrase that mainly is for science fiction but can be used for any other genera:
"Ridiculously beautiful people under ridiculous situations."
How many "ugly" stars do you know? And I don't mean people that are really beautiful, but are just "playing ugly".
How many "Beauty and the Beast" relationships do you know, in Hollywood, where the Beautiful person in the relationship is the man and the Beast is the woman?
