Gloria Jean Watkins

Acclaimed author and activist Gloria Jean Watkins, known as bell hooks, has died [15 Dec., 2021] at 69. The author, known for her prolific writings on race, gender and class, died at her home in Kentucky, her family said in a statement Wednesday. Source 1a.
