What was that a hard c makes the same sound as a k? Who thought of that nice tid bit? I'll be glad to flog them and the one that decided every other word need a silent gh to make the t sound and stick a silent e on the end of every 100th word just to torture those poor children in grade 3.

Words that cannot be spelled like they sound really sucks bad, am I Wrong?

Lets see read and read two words spelled exactly alike but different? To, too, two ok which one do you want? Thru and through I still do not get it at all.

These are just a few examples I can go on and on but if I did that I might actually learn this language.

English has so many sources - French, German, Latin, Spanish, Greek, and etc. - that the pronunciation of some words just doesn't match the spelling.

And now it's being corrupted by txt msgs and I'm's, u no?
