My Lord, Honourable Manatoa
I beseech you to look upon my soul with pity
I have served you with everything I have
I am a pious believer and have not strayed from your teachings.
Now I have died, I ask for your help O Manatoa, I want to return to the land of the living.
I wish to breathe fresh air, I wish for my veins to flow with fresh blood.
I wish for my heart to beat.
