A 29-year-old army recruit has been found hanged at at the Pirbright army camp in Surrey, said police. The next of kin have been informed.

I would be interested in seeing more information on this. I did not see a link to the original article. I am assuming this is another unfortunate casualty of the war in Iraq. Suicides and suicide attempts have greatly increased in the armed forces since the war began.

It really does not give much detail might be too soon for them to release it.

This one states that the suicide is one of a bigger issue and the result of abuse by superiors is being investigated.
