What do you think about Argentina's style of football? Do not think about just one player, but the team as a whole. DO they operate in unity or is it just a one man show?

JB, that's a very general question since they're so many Argentinian teams with different styles. But let's focus in the two most popular ones. Boca Juniors and River Plate yep those are the real names , I'm a fan of River Plate and I think we have great players there. The Argentinian football style is worldwide known because of the great ability of the players with the ball and passes. I don't know if we have so much strategy in the game as much as love for the country and putting Brazil down once in a while lol yeah like in a World Cup (Italy 90') *hehehe*

I thought Boca Juniors always beat River Plate and by the way isn't 'River Plate' English or does it mean something else in Spanish?

Now let us discuss the 'Hand of god' play by Maradonna against England. Wouldn't you say there was a lot of cheating going on in that game. Why if he was winning did he need to stoop to that level?

Oh geezee...let the subject rest, it happened in 1986 JB! No, there was NOT lot of cheating going on in that game, is amazing how people remember the hand of Maradona in that first goal against England but they forget the other goal where Maradona was unstoppable from HALF of the field and made a goal that is known until now 2003, as 'the best goal in the history of football', why everybody forgot that so easily when it happened in the same exactly game?

Great point LDS_forever. The first goal by Maradona was absolutely spectacular to watch as a fan and as a player. The hand of god could be considered cheating but I have discussed this many times with other footballer and it is really an instinct almost when jumping in the air for a high ball. Sometimes you get caught and sometimes you dont. In Maradona's situation, he did not get caught, and it has become one of the most infamous World Cup goals. But I completely agree that it overshadowed one of the more individual displays of football skill I have ever seen.

Yes, specially when you have to use the head, you automatically feel to use the hand! , but I'm not justifying his behavior, it was bad but the other goal half field, alone, with 5 or 6 English players trying to stop him and they could not! it was unbelievable!. The best goal I have ever seen. I love you Diego!
